Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Skilled Nursing – Full Time, Part Time & Per Diem
About the Opportunity
We are actively seeking reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our partner's charming, well-maintained, 90-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in scenic Bennington, VT.
The facility houses specialty Dementia and Huntington's Disease units, and the staff is committed to ensuring the highest quality of life and care for all residents in a warm, nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments timely and as ordered
- Provide supervision and guidance to Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs)
- Monitor patients' and residents' conditions and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as necessary
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of medical records and documentation
- Communicate with patients' and residents' family or friends as required
- Collect samples for labs as ordered
- Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs
Qualifications
- Current Vermont LPN license required
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work in a team environment
- Strong ability to multi-task and maintain professionalism in a dynamic setting
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and best nursing practices
- Competent in EMR entry (experience with Point Click Care is a plus)
Schedule & Pay
- $6,400 per month
- Flexible schedules: Day, Evening, and Night positions available
- Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem opportunities offered
- Shift and weekend differentials included
- Access to earned wages prior to payday
